Canada Day 2008

Nanaimo hosts Central Saanich LBC for a competitive, but friendly, morning. (June 25, 2008)

On June 20 we hosted 60 school kids for a skills tourney.  Based on their comments, they had a great time.
It took some time and effort to set up the skill-testing rinks, so we used them again for the Friday evening Draw and we adults had just as much fun.

(thanks to Donn for the photos and for the enjoyable evening)

Lawn Bowls is for all ages and the whole family.

Determined?

And another..

Some pics from our wonderful BBQ on June 14 - many thanks go to Master Chef Monty and all his many helpers.
(thanks to Shirley for the images)
