Welcome to the 2010 Lawn Bowling Season!

The CLUB would like to develop CLUB SPIRIT built on

INCLUSIVENESS and the ONE BOWLS PHILOSOPHY.

We hope there is something on the Calendar for everyone. There are various

Draws for the Social/Recreational bowler. If you are more competitive, then

sign-up for our many Club Competitions and Evening Leagues. Sign-up sheets

will be posted 4 wks. prior to all Club Competitions & Leagues. Again two

players of the same rating can share a position for Club Competitions. Entry

Fees for Club Competitions will be $3. Exception: Membership Prs. is $5.00.

All League Fees are $5.00.

If members are interested in Zone Competitions, entries will be accepted on

April 15 @ 8:00am. by the respective Games Chairs - Refer to Blue Booklet.

WHAT'S NEW for the 2010 SEASON!!!

1. Ladies Draw: Same Day - New Time - 9:15 A.M.

2. Cutthroat 'Reach for the Top' League - Thursday Evenings

    May and June - 6 wks. - Limited to 24 bowlers

3. A separate Competition will be held in August to determine our 2 Mixed

    Prs. Teams to represent our Club @ the Zones in Qualicum on Sept. 11/12.

VISITS

We will host Cent. Saanich on June 23 (2 games) and LADNER on July 15

(2 games). The Qualicum Challenge is on July 17 (home) and July 18 (away).

PROVINCIALS

The Nanaimo Club will host the Canadian Blind Sports Association Prov. Lawn

Bowling Championships for the Blind & Visually Impaired from July 6-9.

BC Senior Games - 55+ - Sept. 15-18 - Comox/Campbell River

Zone 2 Playdowns - Prs. (Men's/Ladies) - Courtenay - June 1/2

                           - Mixed Fours - Qualicum - June 8/9
